File Storage Options for MacBooks

If you are struggling with storing files with your MacBook Pro since it does not have a USB port, then continue reading this blog post.

My MacBook only has 3 ports. Two type-c and one audio ports. My hard disk is often easily running out of storage.  It is  because I use the screen recording built-in function to record screencasts. I want to connect it to a high capacity flash drive or external hard disk. However, whenever I connect it using an type-c adapter, it's either I cannot access the directory or the files I copied and pasted are missing.

Then I tried to connect my USB Type-C/OTG Card reader and writer to my MacBook. At first, I used a 32GB microSD card. It was successful. I can store my files and transfer it to my desktop computer since it has a USB end.

In order to manage my files, I purchased a 256GB microSD card for PHP 600. It's supposed to be less than P2000. However, it was on sale so I was able to get a big discount.

I haven't transferred my large files yet. I still want to read a book about digital files decluttering.
