Fried Springrolls (Lumpiang Shanghai)

It's Christmas season in my place. We tend to cook a lot of dishes to celebrate every holiday. The one I am featuring in this blog post is called Lumpiang Shanghai. It is a kind of spring rolls that is served in the Philippines.  It is really delicious. It is often eaten with matching sweet and sour chili sauce.

Here are the ingredients:

Lumpia wrapper
Ground pork
Carrots
Onions
Garlic
Kinchay
Salt
Pepper
Eggs

We cooked all of the ingredients first in a frying pan. We started with onions and garlic. Then we placed carrots and all other ingredients on the pan. The last one to be added is the ground meat.  After cooking all of the ingredients, we added raw eggs. Afterwards, we put the mixed cooked vegetables and meat on top of the wrapper. We rolled the wrapper and sealed it using water. This was done repeatedly until we run out of wrapper. Then we deep fry the lumpia rolls using the Masflex fryer pot.
